If you create an account we store your email address, your display name and the preferences you choose during onboarding (goal, experience level, interests and daily goal). Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.

We store which lessons and investigations you complete, the XP awarded, your streak, your daily activity totals and whether your first answer to each question was correct. This is what makes your progress, streak and skill scores work.

We record a small set of product events — for example starting a lesson, moving through its steps, completing it or leaving it early. These events include the content ID, the step number and whether an answer was correct on the first attempt. They help us understand which content is too hard, too easy or unclear.

If you use CyberTap as a guest, these events are linked to a random identifier stored on your device. We do not use your email, your IP address, advertising identifiers or device fingerprinting to identify you.

Our hosting and database providers process the technical information needed to serve the app securely and reliably.

We do not sell your data. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list because you created an account — marketing communication is always a separate, explicit choice. We do not store the text of your answers in our analytics data.

You can reset your learning progress from your profile at any time. For questions about your data, contact us through the support channel listed on our website.
